Present: Tantikil UNLIMITED, Inc., Consultant, focusing services in the areas of natural resources management, ANCSA land management, planning, and training.

Former Adjunct Instructor, Alaska Pacific University, teaching courses in Environmental and Resource Economics, Principles of Forest Management, Natural Resource Planning and Politics, and Organizational Culture.

1989-1992: Land Manager, The Kuskokwim Corporation, a Village Native Corporation with land and natural resource holdings of 769,000 acres in the middle Kuskokwim. Responsibilities included: initiating development of a resource inventory; formulation of a land-use permit program, including implementation, field monitoring, enforcement, program critique and revision; preparation of standardized documents and tracking systems for leases, various types of permits, filing systems, staff task assignments on a priority basis, etc.; ANCSA 14(C)(1,2) claim adjudication; research, plan, initiate economic development projects—roads, land sales, village planning; initiating and negotiating four ANCSA 14(C)(3) plans for the Corporation; conducting and training staff in a variety of types of field investigations; cooperating with many organizations (ie., Calista Corp., Alaska Dept. of Environmental Conservation, Soil Conservation Service, Alaska Div. of Forestry, BLM, local governments) on a variety of projects; preparation of comprehensive land/resource management policies; department administration and staff supervision, work plan development and budgeting; negotiation of various contracts and agreements as related to land/resource management; participation in the legal review and development of State and federal laws and regulations.

1984-1989: Resource Manager, Ahtna, Inc., a Regional Native Corporation with natural resource holdings of timber, minerals, gravel and land totaling 1.52 million acres in the Copper River Basin. Responsible for all aspects of resource management, including: Land Department organization and staffing; training; development of a resource inventory; participation in corporate planning efforts; initiation, development and management of various programs; governmental coordination and negotiations; field investigations; policy development; development and implementation of information tracking systems; formulation and monitoring of resource agreements, land leases, etc.; Project Manager for special projects.

1982-1983: Resource Development Coordinator, Aleutian/Pribilof Islands, Association, Inc. This position involved working directly with the 11 Native communities in the region as well as the local ANCSA village corporations in the areas of economic development, local and regional planning assistance, energy conservation and alternate energy development, and regional issue resolution (subsistence, commercial fishing, coastal zone management, oil and gas development, etc.).

1976-1982: Resource/Environmental Planner and Marketing Coordinator for R&M Consultants, involved in a wide variety of environmental, land-use, resource development projects and studies throughout Alaska; also responsible for business development of the Anchorage Office of the firm, and coordination of marketing efforts with other offices of the company (two in Alaska and three outside the state).

1972-1976: Research Assistant, Arctic Environmental Information and Data Center, University of Alaska, Anchorage, participating in natural resource assessments and inventories, land-use planning and environmental studies statewide.
